Whether it’s attending an online seminar related to an area of HR I’d like to gain more knowledge in or listening to an industry-related podcast episode whenever I’m in the car, actively building on prior knowledge has made all the difference in the confidence I have to take on my role at POLITICO. I would say that maintaining a growth mindset has kept me prepared for each new step. How did you equip yourself for each transition along the way? It’s been a great journey so far and I’m looking forward to all the professional growth that this new role has in store for me.
With trust and recognition from my leaders, I was promoted to Associate HR Business Partner last Spring 2022 and more recently to HR Business Partner supporting our newsroom. Having the opportunity to partner closely with the HRBP team to provide support in all areas related to onboarding, employee experience, and talent data could not have aligned more perfectly with my HR career goals.
